The school is founded by The Bhavani Educational Services Trust (acronym of which is The BEST). The B.E.S.T. is an educational and social services charitable trust established to offer facilities and services in the field of education and healthcare for the welfare of the community. It was founded in August 2006, by a group of like minded friends in the Kalingarayanpalayam Village of the Erode District in Tamilnadu. The trust has already established a College of Education.
The school is being developed for about 1000 students, from Preschool to Class Twelve. The school will follow the curriculum given by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, within that curricular framework, the school will aim for more. The school subscribes to the idea that education is inspirational. To transform that philosophy into practice, the school is evolving its own teaching-learning systems, keeping in mind the psychological needs of the children and the current educational trends.

At The Optimus Public School, we aim to provide excellence in education and enable each child to achieve the full potential in a stimulating setting. It gives me great pleasure to present a brief overview of what we do at The Optimus Public School. “Education is the powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Mandela At TOPS, we believe that school education needs to prepare the next generation of children to become future ready in order to succeed in the fast changing world! Our focus is on ensuring the delivery of practical education which will help our children to be successful in the long run. The emphasis is on developing skills such as communication, critical thinking, group work and leadership. Our curriculum is tailored to encompass the right blend of academics, play and self-exploration. Emphasis is placed on creative teaching methodologies and children are encouraged to question, explore and arrive at answers. And to do that, we believe that Education needs to prepare the next generation of students to understand, apply, analyse, evaluate, create and to gain knowledge. We truly have a fantastic school with a supportive and involved parent community, dedicated and highly skilled staff, excellent resources and buildings with good infra-structure. An educational institute is not just about design with bricks, mortar and concrete but building character, enriching minds and experiences that cherishes lifetime. Education is a constant process where, each day a brick is laid towards constructing the foundation for good citizenship. We aim to inculcate professional ethics and human values in all other students which will help them to identify their true potential, follow their dreams and become the future leaders who, the whole world will admire. The Optimus Public School educational philosophy is to create children who are confident, compassionate, caring and competent.
