Community Services

Optimus believes that community service provides opportunities to learn about social development and citizenship. It also prepares students for the work world by teaching them teamwork, problem solving, about diversity and interpersonal skills. The service-learning experience will be a source of knowledge.

By applying their knowledge to issues in the community and helping meet the community needs, community service can strengthen students' ties to and understanding of the society.

All students are expected to spend a certain number of hours on community service and socially useful productive works, both on campus and in the surrounding areas. Under SUPW, children learn practical activities like changing a tyre, fixing a bulb, sewing a button or cooking a tasty dish.
